The tax law master’s program organized a trip to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris. The OECD writes model tax treaties which we study in class. I wasn’t aware that the U.S. was so involved with the OECD, but apparently they are our governments “best kept secret.” We had half a day to have fun in Paris followed by a full day of seminars on various tax topics.

They’re supposed to have one the best collections of data. It’s quite interesting.
